This is one of the worlds most iconic hut-to-hut ski tours. This 6-7 days tour links the beautiful mountain towns of Chamonix, FR to Zermatt, SW. Over the course of the tour you will stay in 5-6 stunning high mountain huts and cross over a dozen different glaciers. All expertly guided by IFMGA mountain guides.

The Haute Route is an immersive journey through one of the historic regions of the alpine world. It combines the thrill of downhill skiing with the endurance and skill of mountaineering, creating a adventure that attracts enthusiasts from around the globe. The huts you'll stay at are quintessential to the experience, offering shelter, warmth, and camaraderie in the heart of the European Alps. You'll enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by professional chefs nightly, as well as breakfast and lunch out on the slopes.

Steven Van Sickle is the founder of Zero Gravity Alpinism. He is a dedicated climber and fully certified IFMGA & AMGA mountain guide who is conscientious and skilled at balancing the needs of clients in a safe and professional manner. Originally born in New Mexico, Steven grew up traveling the world in an Air Force family. After a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, Steven went back to New Mexico to attend school and found himself learning to climb on the steep granite cliffs of the Sandia mountains in northern New Mexico. After years of big wall climbing and hard rock climbing in America’s great climbing areas, in 2008 the natural progression to alpine climbing brought him to Ouray, CO. Today, Steven’s focus is on completing high altitude technical alpine routes on peaks throughout China and Asia, and exploring every corner of his home in the San Juan Mountains.
