Come with us on our Central Coast Surf Trip! Here you will find several urban beaches and the World Surfing Reserve of Ericeira, probably the area with more spots to surf in less kilometers of whole Portugal and also Peniche and Carcavelos - stage of the world surf tour events.

These places are considered by many to be the surf mecca in Portugal.

In your free time you can visit cultural cities such as Obidos, Mafra, and Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage) and taste the amazing local gastronomy.

The surf along the central coast of Portugal has a diversity of breaks to choose from. Carcavelos, Ribeira D’Ilhas and Supertubos are the most popular spots on this coast area but there are many more hidden gems to surf such as Guincho, Praia Grande, Sao Juliao, Coxos, Molhe Leste, and Baleal.

Come check out waves for all levels and of all sizes, lefts and rights, barrels, bottoms of sand and reef!

The king's land! The top cultural cities around Lisbon are: Obidos, known for its castle, Mafra, known for the National Palace of Mafra. and Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage) known by being a magical village with many palaces, gardens and castles, such as Quinta da Regaleira, Park and National Pena Palace, Park and Palace of Monserrate, Moorish Castle, National Palace of Sintra and others enchanted places.

Being on the coast, most of the local gastronomy is based on fish and sea food mainly sardines, goose barnacle, golden bream, sea bass, sea urchin, codfish, octopus and clams. In terms of meat there are many ways to eat steaks, beans with entrecote or meat sausage.

In the local sweets there are the Pasteis de Nata, Travesseiros and Queijadas from Sintra, Ouriços from Ericeira and Pasteis from Peniche.

On this itinerary we’ll be mostly on the Lisbon wine region influenced by the Atlantic Ocean with special highlight to the Colares DOC and their unique grape variety of Ramisco and Malvasia but also the grape Jampal in Mafra area. Not less important are the much known Ginja d’Óbidos (sour cherry liqueur) and some local firewaters.
